Customized Art Work

This project is great for a favorite word or saying you might have. I was walking through Porters one day and they had all their rub-ons, which are great by the way, and there were a lot of different choices but nothing was grabbing my attention that day. I wandered into the Scrap Booking section of Porters and I came across these great alphabet stickers. The thought dawned on me that perhaps I could make my own "rub-on" type artwork. I discovered it works quite well!

What you will need:

1 piece of scrap-booking paper
1 small frame
1 package of alphabet letters
scissors

Heres what you do:

Step 1. Most frames come with a picture that is already in the frame so use that as a tracer on your scrap-booking paper and cut out enough paper to fill the inside of your frame.
Step 2. Decide what you want to say on your frame.
Step 3. Mark the center of your glass with a dry eraser, use a light color though so it doesn't leave a mark.
Step 4. Take into account how wide your word is going to be, remember each letter is going to be a different width and height.
Step 5. Start at the center of the word and carefully place each letter on.
Step 6. Once the entire word is placed and you're sure that your letters are centered and straight press down on each of them to secure them
Step 7. Put the glass into the frame!
